What’s your favorite aspect of your job?

Building a connection with my couples! Every elopement I leave with new life-long friends, and that means so much to me. Getting to not only share such a special day with my couples but capturing that and giving them a little piece of my heart in my work is the best feeling!

Is there a wedding destination or type that’s on your bucket list right now?

I'm a sucker for mountains and cold climates. It would be a dream to shoot an adventure elopement somewhere like Antarctica or Lapland. I can imagine being surrounded by snow, glaciers, and the Northern Lights, taking a dog sled adventure and lots of hot chocolate breaks!

What achievement, moment, or success are you most proud of in your career?

I won Junebug's Best of the Best competition in 2023. I remember finding out about this competition back in 2020, as one of my favourite photographers had won! In 2023 I decided to enter for the second year in a row, and this year was extra special as my favourite photographer who introduced me to the competition was actually a judge that year! Winning photo competitions isn't the number 1 goal in my business, but as someone who struggles a lot with imposter syndrome and self-confidence, it was something I needed at the time!
