The ranch boasts 360-degree views of the Rocky Mountain and offers a lodge that sleeps 15 and four cabins, each sleeping 6, providing plenty of space to celebrate and relax with your loved ones. Founded by Sara and Mike Duffin in 2020, the ranch has been renovated with new amenities and a self-service model, allowing guests enjoy the property at their own pace. With a focus on cleanliness, quality accommodations, and creating a special environment for you and your guests, Blue Coyote Ranch is truly a unique mountain retreat.

Our couples love that a wedding at Blue Coyote is not just a one-off dinner, it's a whole weekend retreat! Lodging on-site for up to 39 people means that you and your friends and family are close all weekend. There is no pressure on wedding day to see everyone, because you are able to visit with people in a low pressure way all weekend.
How did you get your start in the wedding industry?
My husband and I bought Blue Coyote Ranch in December 2020, in September 2022 we got married at the ranch! It was so special to us that we were able to have our friends and family stay with us at the ranch that we decided we wanted to open the ranch up to other couples as well! So when you visit Blue Coyote, you are visiting somewhere special to us, and we can't wait for it to also be special to you!
What’s your favorite aspect of your job?
I absolutely love to watch two families and friend groups become one! Because we have on-site lodging I usually get to know the aunts, grandpas, best friends, cousins and siblings of our couples. Everyone is so full of joy and well wishes for the couple, it's just a wonderful thing to be a part of! I have always been a hostess - from college parties to fundraising events, to dinner parties I have hosted events throughout my entire life. It's so fun to now be a professional hostess, hosting many different couples and families and helping them bring their vision to life.
